Clear skies, slight breeze (well almost gale force but couldn't wait a minute longer). After obtaining clearance from ground control the plane accelerated down the grass runway. Then disaster struck - a powerful gust of wind caused the plane to alter course and taxi straight into the verge. Propeller broken and game over.
The ever-thoughtful chinese manafacturers included 3 other propellers with the plane (I now know why) so the story doesn't end here...
