Have fun in Newcastle - seriously, you should see the range of beers they have at the Cluny, and it's a helluvah lot cheaper than Edinburgh prices! And try the lamb chili burger...

I tried it and its good. But gotta say the accompanying chips were a bit "chip shop". I Do enjoy a boutique french fry with my exotic burgers but, I guess it was a good clash of two cultures if that was what the chef was trying to get across. I left them and gobbled up the spinach leaf garnish. MMmmm!

All is busy. After two days of rehearsals things are gelling nicely. Konrad Wiszniewski is making his own unique stamp on the music and it's taking the rest of us to new places. Tomorrow we travel to sell our wares in Newcastle at the Cluny. Really looking forward!!
Then we launch the new album on the 16th at the Jazz Centre,Edinburgh. We'd love you to be there to share our joy at finally getting the second album on the streets.
The album finally has a title - In Perpetuity (which is how long we hope it will sell for).

A big thanks to all who came down to see us at the Cluny last night. Terrific audience, great organisation and sound, lovely venue - and the food was topper too. In short, we had ourselves a ball. It was our first outing with Konrad on tenor and he did us very proud indeed and gave the music a new direction and edge. Looking forward to the next time.

Monday sees the official release date of our new album In Perpetuity. We thank all that came to our pre-launch show at the Lot and appologise for any hangover caused by the after show festivities.
We are taking a short break from gigs to consolidate the live show but will be returning soon - with a vengance. Look out for dates from April onwards - we hope to see you there.

Hurrah. It's out on the streets. In perpetuity is now available from Troon to Tokyo in all good record shops as well as the usual online outlets. Make us happy and buy one for yourself and a friend. Waiting nervously for press and will post it on the site (assuming it's positive of course)as soon as we get a review. Summer live dates are coming together nicely so keep checking the link for more info.

I've started sketching the new album - this is taking it's sweet time with all the festive interuptions and subsequent recovery time ..... but the ideas are coming together. I'm hoping to make some of the material available for beta-testing on the fan club page to give you all a bit of input.
That's all for now folks, Haftor 02/01/06
